We celebrated Mardi Gras last week with a mask making party, some Zydeco music, a parade and the kid's favorite party dinner-breakfast for dinner. This is all of the kids (plus Ella's friend) making their masks.
This is the finished product! Ella and her buddy's were very girly and sparkly. Jack was not feeling the glitter glue and feathers, so we made his by tracing his hands and gluing them together. So cute!
Here is the king cake! Ella got the baby, which I told her means she will have good luck for a year. I'm not sure if that is 100% correct, but I thought it sounded good! Jack got upset, so I got him "another" piece and stuffed the baby back into it. Voila! Everyone is happy! Kevin missed the whole shindig because he had to work :(
