Naples Beach Trip

So, this was our first day in Naples. It was absolutely gorgeous! However, the next day we noticed there were a lot of big fish in the shallow water. Turns out they were trying to "beach themselves" to get out of the water because of toxic algae?? It is called "red tide." So, the next day we went to the local water park :) We loved it there, though! We even got two couples nights out to nice dinners thanks to bringing a baby-sitter with us for both families.

Disney Trip

Jack fell in love with Stitch during the trip. We had breakfast with his new buddy. Since then we rode the Stitch ride 5 times (it is not the best ride at Disney, so 5 times was A LOT!), bought a stuffed Stitch, Stitch hands, Stitch movie, you name it! So sweet!

I love this picture of Jack at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. As you can see it was very crowded.

This picture was taken at the Princess Breakfast in Epcot. Ella had a blast seeing everyone, and Jack was a real trooper.

Disney Trip

Umm, March 27 was my last post. Crazy! Thank you, Sharon, for reminding me that I need to update my blog! Here are some pictures from our Disney Trip. My mom, Ella, Jack and I went to my favorite place in the world last month, and spent Jack's 5th bday there! We had SO MUCH FUN. After Disney, Kevin and the Cottons came to meet us and we all went to Naples for the week. We all had a really great trip. I loved Naples! Cannot wait to go back there, too! This first picture was taken at our hotel when we arrived. We stayed at the Polynesian. Fabulous!!!

Jack's Gardening Style

I went outside yesterday to bring my kids in from the rain and found Jack "watering" my tulips with his Nerf water blaster gun. IN THE RAIN! So cute.

Spring Break Fun

So, I am totally ready to get back into the normal routine. I was insanely happy tonight during our usual cook dinner/eat dinner/I clean up kitchen/Kevin bathes the boys/Ella showers/I make lunches/Playtime/Bedtime routine. However, we had a really good spring break and enjoyed the break from routine, too. We went to Jonesboro at the beginning of the week and had so much fun going to the Memphis Zoo and seeing family and friends. We came back on tuesday and just chilled. Ella and I had a girl's day on Friday. We shopped a lot, had a great lady lunch, ran lots of errands and went to Orange Mango. Fabulous! I really love my little girl!! Here are some pictures of our trip to the zoo in Memphis.

Mardi Gras!!

We celebrated Mardi Gras last week with a mask making party, some Zydeco music, a parade and the kid's favorite party dinner-breakfast for dinner. This is all of the kids (plus Ella's friend) making their masks. This is the finished product! Ella and her buddy's were very girly and sparkly. Jack was not feeling the glitter glue and feathers, so we made his by tracing his hands and gluing them together. So cute! Here is the king cake! Ella got the baby, which I told her means she will have good luck for a year. I'm not sure if that is 100% correct, but I thought it sounded good! Jack got upset, so I got him "another" piece and stuffed the baby back into it. Voila! Everyone is happy! Kevin missed the whole shindig because he had to work :(

100 Days of School and 1 Lost Tooth!

Ella had the 100 days of school celebration at school and had to make a project of 100 things. So, she came up with the idea to have "100 pieces of Ella." We took a picture of her, blew it up and then cut it into 100 pieces. We had a lot of fun blinging the project up! Jack added to the picture with a power ranger morphin pose.

Ella lost her first top tooth! The tooth fairy brought her a whole dollar! She is dressed up as a cowgirl (hence the hat) because the theme of their 100 days of school celebration was rodeo roundup.

Cole's A Ham

Cole began the day with a little game of b-ball. He says "basketball" so cute! It comes out like "bah-ball." He has picked up on this game so quickly, and it seems like he has a natural affinity for anything involving balls. He even picks it up and moves back and forth like someone is trying to block his shot. It is hilarious and completely amazing at the same time. Not sure why he felt the need to add a silver beaded cowboy hat. I am really not sure why we have a silver beaded cowboy hat in my living room. But, he wore it most of the morning. I guess he loves anything bedazzled just like his mom!

Isn't this the perfect shot! Who does not have a kid that loves to climb in the dishwasher? What is so wonderful about it? Is it that is just always open in my house with either a new load or unloading? Who knows!

Snow, Snow and More Snow

I feel like we live in Colorado! The amount of snow we have seen in the last week is crazy! We have been out of school all week (with the exception of Monday). Amazingly, the kids have done really well. We have played about all the Twister, Wii, Whack-a-Mole and any make up games that we can think of! Everyone has gotten along and cabin fever has not set in too bad. The Lord has definitely blessed us and walked with me this week! I have stayed sane :) As you can see, we have spent several days in our PJs and watched A LOT of movies in my bed.

Jack Turns 4 1/2

This is our half birthday celebration for Jack. On your "half-birthday" you get to pick dinner, have a cookie cake and we sing to ya! Jack wanted to have a power ranger cookie cake. Imagine that! I love this picture. Ella's tights are pulled up over her leotard, Jack is being super silly and Cole's eyes are not even open. Perfect!

Cole's First Haircut

Here is my big boy with Camille for his first haircut. I am glad we took this picture at the beginning, because he did not like the haircut! I am pretty sure that he screamed loud enough for all of Shag to hear. Oh well, he looks super cute!

Snow Day in NWA

What a day! Can I just say that I HATE snow days. They used to be so much fun when I was a kid! Now it is all about entertaining 3 homebound children. The day started off well with a nice big breakfast, then quickly turned south with Ella and Jack fighting and Cole screaming. So, I got Jack and Ella suited up to play outside, then sent them out with sleds. By that time Cole had stuck his arm in the toilet bowl and broken my necklace. Then I got him dressed and threw on a hat, coat and boots. Right when I got outside, Jack was ready to come in for hot chocolate. Ahhh! Did I mention it was only 9:30 AM at this point? But, I did get some great pictures to "cherish" the moment. Can you tell that Cole did not really like the snow? I guess I would not either if I could not see or move! He cried the whole time. Oh well, there is always next year!
